Dogs deserve forever homes.  Dogs deserve to know and understand what is expected of them.  Dogs deserve consistency and structure.  Dog training should be affordable.  The quality of training should not be contingent on how much an owner can afford to spend.  Jacie's Canine Academy offers all those things.  Many times I am asked "Why are your classes so inexpensive?"  My answer to that is simple. . . "I'm not in business to make a million dollars.  I am in business to make sure dogs are able to receive the training that is necessary to keep them from being turned in to a shelter later for obedience problems."  Over half of the dogs in local shelters today are there because the owner did not properly train the dog either because of the laziness or the inability to afford dog training.  I want to make the later reason a thing of the past.  I want to stop the cycle of the "revolving door".  Educating owners and making dog training affordable will do just that.
